32nd international Snow and Ice Festival kicks off in China

The 32nd edition of the Harbin International Snow and Ice Festival has kicked off in northern China and is characterized by sculptures and towers that reach up to 150 feet high.

The official theme of the festival is “Pearl on the Crown of Ice & Snow, and it opened its doors to the general public on officially opened to the public on 5th January, with tourists flocking to see sculptures and ice towers spread out across multiple themed areas.

According to organizers, 11.7 million cubic feet of snow have been used to create the works of art this time around.
