Bomb Blast in Lahore Park on Easter Day, 72 Death

On Sunday evening when people around the city have gathered to celebrate, enjoy the event but some people have other ideas about it in their mind. The crowded park of Gulshan e Iqbal was under attacked at Sunday evening and several have died and many are injured.

DIG Dr. Haider Ashraf has confirmed the death of 72 people over night. The attack was so severe that it was heard far around the areas. Government of Punjab has announced the three days mourning and has enforced emergency in the city. All the schools and markets were closed.

Nawaz Sharif along with Shahbaz Sharif and federal minister Chaudhry Nisar has visited the injured at Jinnah hospital. Nawaz Sharif has called a meeting for the talk on the bomb blast occurred at Gulshan e Iqbal ground at Prime Minister House. In the meeting they have taken the steps to ensure security of the people. PM house statement said “key decisions to respond to the situation were taken and directions were issued”.

Counter terrorist department of Lahore has issued the first report against four suspects under section 7. According to the FIR four suspected persons were stopped at the gate but due to lacking one got entered in to the park and blew himself. The park was crowded and people were celebrating the Easter and were pathetically crowded. Management of PHA is not good as the boundary walls of the park in only 5-6 feet and easily climbable.
