On Thursday, Government of Pakistan has finally released a statement that gives the permission to the Cricket Team of Pakistan to visit the neighboring country India for the World T20. In reaction to that PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan, has showed a convincing attitude and said that he is quite pleased to hear the news. He also mentioned the extra security plan that was asked from the ICC to ensure the safety of the Pakistani Cricket Team in India. Chairman also cleared the intention of the PCB by saying that the board is also expecting the visa assistance and other miscellaneous arrangements for the Pakistani fans that are planning to visit India to watch and support their team.
The news has come late as the speculations was going on for weeks and the board was waiting for the decision of the government. The decision was in pending due to the sensitive relationship between the two countries.
Chairman Shahryar Khan also told the media that PCB had also submitted the contingency plan for this specific decision to the ICC, asking them to change the venue to a more neutral country. But, now the things are quite clear and smooth for the Pakistani team as they will play with clear mind.
