In the match in Auckland, Pakistan team won the toss and batted first, the batsmen scored 290 and all out in 47.3 overs. From green shirts Babar Azam 83, Mohammad Hafeez 76, Sarfaraz Ahmad 41, and Shoaib Ahmed with 32 runs, were the top scorers in the match.
From the Kiwiz, Milney bolt 3, Henry 2, whereas Anderson and Senator bowled 1 player each. New Zealand under the Duckworth-Lewis method, got a target of 263 runs that they achieved before last 2 balls. From NZ, Williamson 84, Martin Guptill 82 and Anderson with 35 runs were the top scorer in the match.
Whereas form the Pakistan’s side, Bowler Mohammad Aamer, Wahab Riaz and Azhar Ali, took 2 wickets each and Shoaib Malik Mohammad Irfan were able to bold one batsman each.
Towards the end of the match, in the ceremony, Martin Guptill was declared the best player of the match due to his magnificent innings in the game.
